About
The beginning of Isabella Sofia
Isabella Sofia began at my bench in Melbourne with a simple belief: the pieces you wear every day should be made properly, in solid metal, by a person who cares how they age.
I trained in Object and Jewellery Design at Melbourne Polytechnic and worked as a jeweller with Sener Besim, one of Australia's most considered fine jewellery houses, bringing other people's ideas to life. I also work in front of the camera as a model with Viviens Model Management, which has taught me exactly how a piece should sit, move and catch the light. This label is where both worlds meet.
Every ring, hoop and cuff is carved, folded, cast and polished by my hands, and no two ever leave the bench the same.
Alongside the collection I take a small number of bespoke commissions each season: engagement rings, reworked heirlooms, and pieces built around stones with a story.

Made by hand
Carved in wax, formed in metal and finished at my bench. The slight variation between pieces is the signature, not a flaw.
Solid metals only
Sterling silver, 9ct gold and bronze all the way through. No plating that gives up after one summer.
Made in Melbourne
Designed and made here, shipped from here, and repaired here for life if a piece ever needs it.
Wear it alone, stack it, or build your own story
The collection is small on purpose: rings, earrings and cuffs that layer together and hold their own apart.
